TransMIT Center for Adaptive Cryotechnology and Sensors
20 Years of Experience in Cryocooler Development
Welcome to cryo.TransMIT, your Center for Cryotechnology and Sensors
Foundet in 1998, the center continously develops and manufactures new low-power cold heads working at cryogenic temperatures. Since the in-house invention of the first two stage 4K GM-pulse tube cryocooler, the center is specialized for the adaptation of low noise cooling to a variety of cryogenic applications, eg. cryoelectronic sensors (SQUIDs, IR detectors, JJ-voltage standards), superconducting high-frequency devices (antennae, resonators, filters), and components of superconductor technology (superconducting electromagnets).
Activities and Services - Product Overview and Competences:
- Single stage pulse tube coolers (GM-type) for cooling temperatures of 25K - 120 K
- Two stage pulse tube coolers for cooling temperatures near 4 K
- High frequency pulse tube coolers (Stirling type) for temperatures down to 50 K
- Adaptation of low noise cold heads for "dry" closed cycle cooling solutions
- Customization of low vibration cryogen free cryostats
- Integration of infrastructure for multiple gas precooling circuits
- Research and Development of customized pulse tube cold heads
- Partner for cryogenic research projects
We are looking forward hearing about your visions of a dry cryostat!
